“I have learned to move in a completely new way, which means that despite all the odds, I can run without pain. As a 33-year-old to be told that you will never be able to run again due to osteoarthritis in both knee joints and to hear from physiotherapists that I could instead practice swimming or cycling was extremely tough. For many years, running had been my only form of exercise and also my way of getting mental recovery.
When I finally dared to do a movement analysis on Runfeeling, I had not run in eight years. Today, after training with Anton for a few months, I feel that I am starting to trust my body again. I have learned to run and to move in a completely new way, which means that despite all the odds, I can run without pain. I have learned to feel my body’s ability to move, which means that I can quickly analyze my movements and change them immediately to avoid pain. I feel that I have gained much better control of my movements and I feel much smoother.
I thought this would never be possible, but I had almost completely given up the idea of being able to run again. I am so happy that I dared to book a motion analysis. The only thing I regret is that I waited for eight years, when I really missed the run in my life!”
