About Me

“Pretty quickly, I realized that we humans are, of course, affected by everything we do during our waking hours; the everyday movement to and from work, at work and when we rush around the store. Suddenly I realized that training is good, but also a very small part of the rest of the time. ”

“When I’m in southern Sweden, people often come up to me and ask where I’m from. Which is very nice, I have to admit, people hear my Norrlandic and think it sounds anything from homey to funny.

Västerbotten, to be a little more precise, has been my place to live almost my entire life. Since 1979, my family and I have lived in Vilhelmina, a small town with 3,500 inhabitants, and in the entire municipality, which is considered one of the largest in Sweden by surface area, there are about 6,700 people.

I have always been interested in the body, exercise and health. In the 90s, I ran a wellness facility for a ten-year period and met many wonderful people. It gave me the opportunity to train all day and I remember the time with a smile on my face. After the third child, I eventually trained as an osteopath, to dig deeper into the knowledge of the body.

Today I run a clinic in Vilhelmina and still meet many people. Quite quickly I discovered that those I met often came back with the same problem and I realized that we humans are of course affected by everything we do during our waking hours; the everyday movement to and from work, at work and when we rush around the store. Suddenly I realized that exercise is good, but also a very small part of the rest of the time. Same with my osteopathic treatment.

In 2016 I started my training within the Walkfeeling® Academy and eventually got involved in companies as a co-owner and Head Coach. I love meeting people and developing together with others.

I still meet people in my profession, but the fact is that it is in a completely different way now. Our bodies have an alarm system that can, for example, signal pain, discomfort or stiffness. When you learn to listen to your body and its signals, you also become aware that you yourself can influence that state. In the same way that you can tense your thigh muscle, you can actually also relax it.

Within Walkfeeling®, we work a lot to make you aware of what your body is trying to tell you. We apply that in your everyday movement, every step you take. Surely you have heard the term – “the sum of everything” or “many streams small” – with this in mind, you can get inspiration with us and make discoveries in your own body. This allows you to move more freely with less tension and gain access to a natural movement – so that the sum of all your movement is constructive instead of destructive. Take the next step too!
